About Lighthouse Neurofeedback and Behavioral Health
Since 2016, Lighthouse Neurofeedback and Behavioral Health has integrated brain mapping and neurofeedback with a range of therapeutic disciplines to support children and adults at every stage of care. By using brain mapping as a guide, we tailor treatment to each individual’s physiology, ensuring that every service—whether behavioral or psychotherapeutic — contributes to a curated and effective journey toward wellness.
Our Story
Lighthouse began with our founder, Adam Potter, whose early work in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) revealed both the strengths and the limits of traditional approaches—especially when supporting clients with trauma. Seeking better ways to help, he integrated relaxation training into ABA, but found that some clients with intellectual disabilities struggled to learn these techniques.
That search led him to biofeedback, a powerful tool that taught relaxation through direct feedback rather than verbal instruction. Along the way, Adam discovered neurofeedback, which not only transformed his clients’ progress but also had a profound personal impact on his own life. This inspired him to deepen his training and explore non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) as well.
By 2014, Adam was combining ABA, neurofeedback, and NIBS in his work with children—helping them make gains that ABA alone often couldn’t achieve. Two years later, Lighthouse Neurofeedback and Behavior Analysis was founded in Colorado.
Over time, Lighthouse grew into a comprehensive care center, adding psychotherapy, family therapy, social work, and play therapy. Our pediatric program expanded to include the family unit, recognizing that a child’s growth and healing are strengthened when their whole family system is supported.
Today, Lighthouse stands as a place where innovation meets compassion, helping individuals and families heal, grow, and thrive.
